Delete Your Lingible Account

This page explains how to delete your account in the Lingible app (developer: Lingible LLP) and the data associated with it. You sign in to Lingible with Google or Apple; deleting your Lingible account does not affect your Google or Apple account itself.

1. Delete your account in the app

  1. Open the Lingible app and go to Settings.
  2. Tap your profile at the top of the screen (your name or email with "Signed in with Google" or "Signed in with Apple"). The profile card expands.
  3. Tap Delete account, then confirm with Continue.
  4. Your email app opens with a prepared deletion request that already contains your account details. Send the email.

2. Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, send a request to lingible.app@gmail.com with the subject "Account deletion request". Please include:

  • The email address of the Google or Apple account you used to sign in to Lingible
  • The sign-in method: Google or Apple

Please send the request from that same email address. If you used Apple's "Hide My Email", include the private relay address (ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com) or send the request from the app as described above. We may ask you to confirm that you own the account before deleting it.

3. What data is deleted

When we process your request, we permanently delete:

  • Your account and sign-in record (name, email address, user ID)
  • Books and covers you saved to your cloud library
  • Saved words and flashcards synced to our servers, including translations and review progress
  • Your push notification token and survey answers, if you submitted any
  • Your subscription status record in our database

We process requests within a few business days and no later than 30 days after receiving them. We will reply by email once your account has been deleted.

4. What data may be retained

  • Purchase and transaction records may be kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law. Payments themselves are processed by Google Play and the Apple App Store, which keep their own records.
  • Crash reports and usage analytics are not linked to your name or email and are automatically deleted by our analytics providers (Firebase) under their retention periods, no later than 14 months.

5. Before you delete

  • Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it yourself in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) or on iPhone (Settings → your name → Subscriptions), otherwise it will keep renewing.
  • Books and words stored only on your device are removed when you uninstall the app.
  • Deletion is permanent. If you sign in again with the same Google or Apple account later, a new empty account will be created.
  • You can delete individual books from your cloud library in the app without deleting your account.

Через приложение

  1. Откройте Lingible и перейдите в Настройки.
  2. Нажмите на свой профиль вверху экрана (имя или почта с подписью «Вход через Google» или «Вход через Apple») — карточка раскроется.
  3. Нажмите Удалить аккаунт и подтвердите кнопкой Продолжить.
  4. Откроется почтовое приложение с готовым запросом на удаление, в нём уже есть данные вашего аккаунта. Отправьте письмо.

По почте

Если приложения у вас уже нет, напишите на lingible.app@gmail.com с темой «Запрос на удаление аккаунта» и укажите почту аккаунта Google или Apple, через который входили, и способ входа. Пишите с этой же почты. Если при входе через Apple вы выбрали «Скрыть e-mail», укажите адрес вида …@privaterelay.appleid.com или отправьте запрос из приложения.

Что удаляется и что остаётся

Мы удаляем аккаунт (имя, почта, идентификатор пользователя), книги и обложки из облачной библиотеки, синхронизированные слова и карточки с переводами и прогрессом повторения, токен push-уведомлений, ответы на опрос, а также запись о подписке в нашей базе. Запрос обрабатывается в течение нескольких рабочих дней, но не позднее 30 дней; об удалении мы сообщим письмом.

Записи о покупках могут храниться столько, сколько требует налоговое и бухгалтерское законодательство. Отчёты о сбоях и аналитика не связаны с вашим именем и почтой и удаляются автоматически, не позднее чем через 14 месяцев.

Удаление аккаунта не отменяет подписку — отмените её в Google Play или в настройках iPhone, иначе она продолжит продлеваться.
